Meet The Team
Jacob Heine
senior pastor
Pastor Jacob was installed at Faith in 2020. The senior pastor oversees the work of discipleship of Faith Lutheran Church...he is the administrator, directly leads worship and is responsible for the spiritual life of the congregation. He has his M-Div and Doctor of Ministry from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and has served congregations in New York, Nebraska, Tennessee and Illinois.
Martin Albrecht
assistant pastor
Pastor Martin was ordained and installed in 2016, after completing the Specific Ministry Pastor (SMP) program through Concordia Seminary-St. Louis. He retired after working more than 30 years as a law clerk. He works with the senior pastor in the areas of men’s ministry, outreach & assimilation, and assisting in worship and preaching. He and his family joined Faith in 2003.
Jeff Lane
associate pastor
Pastor Jeff is currently in the SMP program at Concordia Seminary-St Louis. He was ordained in August 2024 and will finish his studies in 2026. He retired after 32 years as a clinical lab scientist at a local hospital. He assists in preaching, worship leading, and pastoral care to members, and oversees adult education. Jeff has been a member since 1993.
Heather McCormick
director of family & youth ministry
Heather was installed in 2014 after graduating from Concordia University-St. Paul as Director of Christian Education. She works directly with junior|senior youth ministry, and all programming related to family ministry and spiritual education, along with overseeing ministry to children. She also coordinates our social media.
Linda Meyer
director of music & worship arts
Linda coordinates all worship services, both traditional and modern, in the areas of designing, music, tech, and worship arts since 2022, under the direction of the senior pastor. She received her Theology of Worship certificate from Concordia University-Irvine in 2024. She also directs the Adult Choir, Alleluia Ringers, and Praise Team. Linda has worked at Faith since 2000 and joined in 1987.
Lacey Greene
communications | administrative assistant
Lacey is responsible for the communications, database management and attendance, building scheduling, wedding and funeral coordination, and is usually the first person to answer the phone or door. Lacey and husband also manage a household of 3 boys. She began working at Faith in 2025.
Jason Wills
facility manager | administrative coordinator
Jason works this part-time position in the late afternoons, M-F, overseeing or doing facility maintenance and repair, building safety and improvements, and general administrative coordination as needed. He also works full time as maintenance director at the Topeka Zoo. He started in 2023 and his family have been members since 2008.
Debbie Siegel
bookkeeper
Debbie works mornings in this part-time position managing the payroll, accounts payable, and financial data, alongside the congregational treasurer. She began at Faith in 2022 after coming out of retirement where she worked many years in bookkeeping and in administrative posts.
Jessica Atchison
sunday school & WOW
coordinator
Working closely with DCE Heather, Jessica started in 2023 working part-time to ensure continued education opportunities happen for children especially with our Sunday School and WOW programs. She is a preschool teacher at Most Pure Heart, and also grew up at Faith.
