Meet The Team

Jacob Heine
senior pastor
Pastor Jacob has been serving as the senior pastor since 2020. With a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, he oversees the operations of our congregation, worship services, Bible classes, and fosters the spiritual development of our members. His experience spans across congregations in New York, Nebraska, Tennessee, and Illinois. Outside of his pastoral duties, Pastor Jacob is a father of two daughters and is an avid runner, maintaining a streak of running at least a mile a day for over five years.

Martin Albrecht
assistant pastor
Pastor Martin was ordained and installed in 2016 following his completion of the Specific Ministry Pastor (SMP) program through Concordia Seminary-St. Louis. He retired after working over 30 years as a law clerk for a district court judge. Pastor Martin works with the senior pastor in the areas of men’s ministry, outreach & assimilation, and assisting in worship and preaching. He finds great joy in spending time with his two grandchildren, gardening and enjoying the great outdoors. He and his family joined Faith in 2003.

Jeff Lane
associate pastor
Pastor Jeff completed the SMP program at Concordia Seminary-St Louis in 2026. He retired after 32 years as a clinical lab scientist at a local hospital. He actively assists in preaching, worship leading, and providing pastoral care to our members, while also overseeing adult education programs. When he's not reading or spending time with grandchildren, Pastor Jeff enjoys playing board games. He and his wife have been members at Faith since 1993.

Heather McCormick
director of family & youth ministry
Heather was installed in 2014 after earning her degree from Concordia University-St. Paul, MN, stepping into the role of Director of Christian Education. She is dedicated to our junior and senior youth ministry, family ministry programming, and spiritual education, while also overseeing children's ministry working with her assistant. In Heather's free time, she enjoys experimenting with new baking recipes and taking long walks with her lively dog, Sadie.

Linda Meyer
director of music & worship arts
Linda coordinates all worship services, both traditional and modern, in the areas of design, music, tech, and worship arts since 2022, under the direction of the senior pastor. She received her Theology of Worship certificate from Concordia University-Irvine in 2024 and graduated from Washburn University in 2009. Linda directs the Adult Choir, Alleluia Ringers, and Praise Team. She has worked in various roles at Faith since 2000. Linda and husband joined Faith in 1987, where they remained active members while raising their three children. Now they love to visit their two grandchildren.

Lacey Greene
communications | administrative assistant
Lacey is responsible for the communications/social media, database management and attendance, building scheduling, wedding and funeral coordination, and is usually the first person to answer the phone or door. First trained as an educator, then staying home to raise three boys, Lacey made the decision in 2025 to return to work and appreciates the support of her office environment.

Jason Wills
facility manager
Jason works this part-time position in the late afternoons, M-F, overseeing or doing facility maintenance and repair, building safety and improvements. He also works full time as maintenance director at the Topeka Zoo. He started in 2023 and his family have been members since 2008.

Debbie Siegel
bookkeeper
Debbie works mornings in this part-time position managing the payroll, accounts payable, and financial data, alongside the congregational treasurer. She began at Faith in 2022 after coming out of retirement where she worked many years in bookkeeping and in administrative posts.

Jessica Atchison
sunday school & WOW
coordinator
Working closely with DCE Heather, Jessica started in 2023 working part-time to ensure continued education opportunities happen for children especially with our Sunday School and WOW programs. She graduated from Washburn in 2025 and is a preschool teacher at Most Pure Heart. Jessica grew up at Faith and loves her community.
