Senior Saints for Retirees - usually meets the third Thursday of the month at 11:30am. The next meeting is Oct 20... meet for lunch at the Topeka & Shawnee County Library's Millennium Cafe (at your own cost), followed by a presentation from the library on the services they offer seniors.

Gary's Berries Fall Fun - Everyone is invited to a fun fall event at Gary's Berries (5991 17th St, Grantville) on Saturday, Oct 22, 5-9pm. Discounted $10 tickets will be available for sale in the church office starting Sept. 25. Free hotdog dinner and s'mores at the EJ Corral.

Trunk or Treat - Bring the kids to our church parking lot for a trunk or treat event on Wednesday, Oct 26, 5-7pm. Sign up here if you are willing to decorate your vehicle trunk.

MOPS & MOMSnext

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is for expecting moms to those with children to age 5.

MOMSnext is for mothers with school-aged kids through 12th grade.

Motherhood is hard! Let's do it together! Meet and build relationships with fellow moms in the community. It is a place of encouragement, friendship and support. Life to the full happens best with people by your side. The moms in the groups are focused on being encouraging and supportive of each mom in her season. MOPS is also a Christian outreach, so moms do not have to be members of Faith Lutheran or a Christian church to attend. They will hear others talk about how God loves them and how that faith in Jesus has shaped their lives, as it comes up in different discussions naturally.
