MUSIC MINISTRY

Adult Choir - Contact the director for more information on rehearsals during Covid.

This choir rotates monthly singing in Sunday worship at 8 or 11 a.m. Music includes classic sacred music, gospel, multicultural and traditional favorites. No auditions needed.

• Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:30-9:00 p.m. in the balcony choir loft.

Alleluia Ringers handbell choir

Hand bell/chime choir offers music usually once a month in all worship services and other special services. Knowledge of reading music required. Open to high school youth and adults by audition (substitutes are also needed).

• Rehearsals: Thursdays, 6:00-7:15 p.m. temporarily in the sanctuary (to maintain social distancing. masks required.)

• Director: Linda Meyer (AEGHR Level 1 certified)

 

Praise Team

The Praise Team leads the 9:30 a.m. contemporary service every Sunday. Vocalists are scheduled to sing 1-2 times per month on a team. The band members also are scheduled and often rotate weeks.

Interested in being part of Praise Team (as instrumentalist or vocalist), simply come to a rehearsal and see what happens.

• Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary, year-round

Ensembles & Solos

 

At various times, ensembles of women, men, youth or mixed voices, provide special music as needed. If interested, contact Linda Laird

 

Instrumental Music

Instrumentalists (such as strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion, keyboard) have many opportunities to share their gifts in worship or special events.
