Faith Lutheran Church Lay Leadership
The basic objective of the Spiritual Life Board is the spiritual welfare of the congregation members, individually and corporately. There are 13 board members, each shepherding about 30 families in their area. Faith’s Constitution lists 17 instructions to the board. While there should be a clear message of what the duties are, the broad statements do not detail how to achieve the results of a deeply motivated and excited congregation. Telephone conversations and personal visits with congregation members hopefully assure them someone at Faith cares about them. They meet on the first Wednesday of the month.
