Below are some suggested ideas by other Faith members that have helped them to grow in their personal outreach life:
- Pray for friends struggling with life's turmoil that God will make known to them, his will for them, and grant them peace.
- A very important way to witness is in the way we treat and help others so they yearn to learn more.
- Keep extra Bibles or other Christian books/fliers on hand to give to friends or co-workers.
- Wearing the cross each day is a constant reminder me of how Christ wants me to act and present myself as a disciple and the cross helps open up people's minds and hearts to allow me to speak of Christ's love for them.
- Pray for the opportunity to reach out to others and witness.
- Look for people standing around in back of church or basement that need someone to talk to.
- I let people who are struggling with problems know that I am praying for them.
- Tell others about a miracle that has happened in your life, pointing out that you probably did not even recognize it was a miracle until later.
- Take some cards that invite others to come to Faith and give them out on Halloween or Valentine's Day with the candy.
- I use and speak of my own testimony in my walk with Jesus. I purposefully and from the heart, bring God into my day when talking to people I know and do not know.
- I try to witness my faith in my actions and the way I treat situations and people.
- Prayerfully consider serving a foster family.
