Lenten Worship
Worship at 5:00 & 7:00 p.m.
- March 17 - "Prayer Expresses Dependence on God"
- March 24 - "Prayer Wages War on Behalf of Others"
A made-from-scratch meal will be served from 5:45-6:45 in the Fellowship Hall. Suggested donation of $5/adults and $3/under age 10. This is a fundraiser for the youth.

Children's Easter Celebration
Saturday, April 3 - 10:30am-Noon
Crestview Community Center
Children (age infant through 3rd grade) are invited to the annual Easter celebration. There will be Easter egg hunts, face painting, storytelling and more.
Holy Week & Easter Worship
Palm Sunday, March 28
- Regular worship at 8:00, 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. These services start with the joyous Palm Sunday hymns and ends with passion hymns and a dramatic reading of the passion story.
- Ecumenical Blessing of the Palms at First Christian Church, at 10:00 a.m. We will gather for a short worship at 9:30 in the sanctuary then begin our sidewalk procession down Gage at 9:45. No 9:30 education hour; 10:45 Sunday education as usual.
Maundy Thursday, April 1 at 5 & 7 p.m.
- Recalls the night Jesus shared a Passover meal with his disciples. The 7:00 service ends with a solem ritual, "Stripping the Altar."
Good Friday, April 2
- Noon Worship is a service of lessons and hymns.
- At the 7:30 worship, experience a Service of Darkness. Become a witness of Jesus' death on the cross through the gospel narratives. Festival Choir will present "The Seven Last Words on the Cross."
Easter Sunday, April 4
- 6:30 a.m. - Sunrise, traditional celebration with hymns with organ, vocals and instruments
- 8:00 & 11:00 a.m. - Traditional celebration with Festival choir, instruments and organ
- 9:30 a.m. - Contemporary celebration with uplifting songs featuring the Praise Team
- 6:00 p.m. - Contemporary liturgical worship
- NO Sunday education
- Breakfast is served from 7-10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This is a youth fund raiser.
Dodge Ball Tournament
Friday, April 9 at 5 p.m.
Washburn University Whiting Fieldhouse
- $5/player. Click here for more information. (waiver form must also accompany payment.)
- Spectators welcome ($2 admission fee to watch)
- Concessions available.
- Hosted by the Senior Youth to offset costs of their trip to the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans.
