Light Castings

"Light Castings" is an Epiphany focus at Faith. The "Castings" are the discipleship skills of faith-talk, prayer, word of God, and service. In the Sundays of Epiphany, the sermon will focus on a particular skill; then during that week, groups will have opportunities to grow in that skill. Group life will be introduced and new friends made.

Jan. 29 - Faith Talk: "Remembering Your Story...Discovering God in Your Story" (all sessions are the same. Meets in the Fellowship Hall)

Feb. 5 - Prayer (you are invited to participate in any or all of the following prayer events)

• "Prayer 101" - Monday, Feb. 6, 6:30-8 p.m. (Room 100)
• "Lord's Prayer Seminar" - Thursday, Feb. 9, 6:30-8 p.m. (Room 100)
• Prayer Time - Saturday, Feb. 11, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (sanctuary)
• Prayer Events - Saturday, Feb. 11, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. (locations around Topeka)

Feb. 12 - Service (do a service project at Faith or in the Topeka community)

Ash Wednesday and Lenten Worship

Wednesdays, Feb. 22 - March 28 at 5:00 or 7:00 p.m.

A Lenten meal, served by the Youth, is from 5:45-6:45 in the Fellowship Hall

Selah Women's Luncheon

Saturday, Feb. 25 from 12-2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall

All women are invited to a special luncheon of appetizers, chicken cordon bleu with rice, green beans almondine, roll and dessert bar. Enjoy entertainment by the Men's Quartet of Faith, gift give-aways, and uniquely decorated table settings

Tickets are $10 and will be available on Sundays in the lobby beginning Feb. 12 or stop by the church office anytime.

'Selah' is a Hebrew word often found in the Psalms. It means "stop and listen."
